Finished products...

A lovely girl called Liz made a Port Elizabeth top from the free pattern I posted on Burdastyle. Have a look at her blog here. Someone else on Burdastyle has also made two tops and will post photos soon. This is Liz's top:

When will I learn?

When will I learn not to take on 3 million new projects at any one time?! I couldn't resist this set of fabrics...

The new list of objectives....

Okay, so versatile, easy-to-wear patterns and garments are getting great feedback, but I'm feeling the urge to hark back to my vintage roots. I used to collect costume and have an MA in the history of textiles and dress, so this is where my true passion lies. Although I love wearing modern, well-cut clothes in quality fabrics, I am always taken with vintage/ retro-inspired garments. Having just signed up to Sew Retro, I feel inspired to move in this direction.

So... new set of objectives: design and make a range of vintage-inspired patterns and garments.

Let me know what you think and if you have any recommendations/ sites to view etc. I'm grateful for all the help I can get!
