London...again

This time to Oxford St, Berwick St and Regent St. Wonderful day out with the girls doing girly things! Quilts, fabric and inspiration in Liberty, lunch at Topshop, more fabric in Soho, drinks at Moroccan place and dinner at Wagamama. Perfect.

Every girl should own a pair...

There's nothing like a beautiful pair of red shoes. Always wanted some, now will treasure!

Shabd Simon-Alexander-esque skirt

I discovered this amazing tie-dye designer a couple of months ago and was inspired to create my own skirt using an old J Crew skirt.

AA Tie-dye

American Apparel Tie Dye is to die for! I bought the skirt and scarf in Notting Hill. I love the instructions for wearing the scarf.

Christopher Kane-esque bolero

Ikea fabric, homemade pattern and a little bit of love... Almost finished and ready to wear with my homemade high-waisters or 50s peg-legs.

Textile Art

I studied Second World War dress for my MA and produced this Textile Art piece as a contrast to dissertation writing. I've never finished it, but would like to display it/ use it in some way eventually.

Nautical Knot Belt

Spotted a very similar belt in Jigsaw and made my own version- shirred silk with an infinity knot.
