Log Cabin Scottie Dog!
My mum gave me this beautiful fabric by Aunt Grace. I'm savouring every last piece and have used a tiny section for this little cushion (yet unfinished). I envy quilters who can work so accurately...I don't have the patience! However, I do see every single mistake/ wonky edge etc...
Patchwork Revisited...
I think this indigo quilt was started in 2006... I have finally put the squares together to make a mini quilt. The indigo fabrics were hand dyed in Africa and all unique. Just need to finish and quilt it. I'm thinking about knotting it instead. Lets hope it doesn't take another 3 years to complete!

Shibori
Some shibori samples- like tie-dye, but using twisting, folding and stitching to create patterns. Examples are on silk habutai.

The Goddess Guide
My wonderful husband bought me The Goddess Guide II for Valentine's Day. What a wonderful book; full of gorgeous illustrations and amazing links and ideas. Pure self-indulgence for me over the half term!
